Nicholas Le, Class of 2005, was most recently ordained to the priesthood May27, 2023 at Holy Vietnamese Martyrs Catholic Church. Leading up to this joyous day, he studied at seminaries in Chicago and Rome where he was ordained a deacon at St. Peters Basilica. When Nicholas talks about St. John’s School, not only does he fondly remember his teacher, Mr. Sanford, he compares it to a story in scripture. “When Jesus shares a parable about casting seeds on the different soils. St. John’s was the ‘good soil’ in which I grew up, learned the faith and experienced God’s love in my classmates, teachers, and school community. SJE is the foundation of the person I have become, my faith, and of knowing God’s love.”
