Students have various opportunities to serve in leadership capacities within the school community. All 8th grade students are installed as the leaders of the school after a Friday Mass in the beginning of the year. In addition to the following student leadership opportunities within the school, students are recommended to attend leadership conferences at Blessed Trinity Catholic High School, Our Lady of Mercy Catholic High School, and the People to People Leadership Forum in Washington, D. C.
Student Ambassadors: Students from 3rd through 8th grade serve as representatives of the school; they greet visitors and conduct school tours.
Junior National Honor Society: 7th and 8th grade students are eligible to serve on JNHS if they have a 93 or better core GPA throughout middle school and have teacher recommendations in the five pillars of the National Honor Society.
Safety Patrol: Middle school students are selected by the Safety Patrol faculty sponsors based on characteristics of leadership and responsibility to assist teachers in maintaining a safe arrival and dismissal car line procedure.
Altar Servers: Students who are at least eight years old and have received First Holy Communion may be trained to serve at school and parish liturgies.
Technology Crew: Students in 5th through 8th grade may apply to join the Tech Crew. The technology specialist selects the students after a review of the applications and teacher recommendation.
Extracurricular Activities: athletics, Science Olympiad, Math Team, Academic Bowl, Spelling Bee, Geography Bee, oratorical contests, and the performing and visual arts.
