What is Development? Webster's definition for the word develop is to grow, improve, expand. At St. John the Evangelist, the development of our school involves everyone in a process of growth through enrollment, marketing, public relations and fund raising. It is the active involvement of all people who believe in our mission and share in our vision of SJE.
Development for Catholic schools has been defined as the meaningful involvement of people in our mission and vision for the future. We need the support of our parents, faculty, staff, alumni and friends to be successful!
The purpose of the Development Committee of the SJE Advisory Council is to plan the overall development of the school. So what do we do?
- The Eagle Fund
- Annual Golf Tournament
- Spirit Items
- Bricks Campaign (Leave your mark at SJE!)
- Alumni Relations
- Donor Management
- Marketing and Public Relations
As our school year unfolds, look for more information on development in the St. John Times and on this site!
The Eagle Fund 2007 ~ Watch Us Soar
We have revitalized our annual fund and we are very excited about it! The Eagle Fund is your way to show how much you support SJE through giving a gift to support our academic enhancements, scholarships, athletic programs or wherever our school needs it the most. We all have that special program or charity that we give to on a regular basis. Why not make SJE your new favorite? Look for our Eagle Fund mailing!
Have you wondered where everyone is getting those awesome hats, t-shirts, umbrellas and totes? Well, look no further! The Development Committee is responsible for the influx of spirit wear items that are seen at every St. John event, as well as field trips, ball games and grocery stores! We offer tee-shirts, sweatshirts, and ball caps in grey and pink. We also have zip fleece, tote bags, long sleeve tee-shirts, duffle bags and umbrellas. How much for the items, you ask? Look no further ~ see the link below for an order form.

If there is any item you would like to see, let us know. We are always willing to consider items that would further market our school!
